Ollín Theatre Transformation playback company, composed of actors with diverse backgrounds was created in August 2001 under the direction of Alejandro Moran. It was registered as a non-profit organization in 2003.

OTTplayback fulfills a pivotal role in the theatrical community due to the intimate link created with the audience, for whom the story is re-created directly on the stage.

Since it’s inception, OTTplayback has performed for a wide spectrum of audiences in Montreal. Ollín players re-create the personal stories of audience members in French, English and Spanish.

The technique of playback theatre was conceived by Jonathan Fox in 1975 in New York, USA.

A conductor, three actors and a musician, with some boxes, color fabrics and instruments, will do everything to reflect the essential part of your stories on the spot.
